Electricity is either on or off it can never be partially on.We also learned the binary system,in binary the only numbers are o and 1.Every o and 1 is a bit of information.8 peices of information is called a bite.Everything the computer does is in binary.There are 255 numbers shown in 8 bites.He also showed us two types of olden day computers which people still use, first one was the board calculator and the second was the was the wheel computer that you could calculate things like speed and distance.
