Component project notes

These are the notes that were in my computer component project:-A sound card is a card that produces sound through the internal and external speakers.-OR, A sound card is what the speakers are plugged into.-There are many types of sound cards but, they basically work the same way.- Sound cards have two basic functions: They record and play back digital sound, turning your computer into an electronic tape player.-Some can also play back MIDI files, generating their own music in simulations of multiple instruments. It kind of works like a piano.-MIDI stands for =The Musical Instrument Digital Interface-A soundcard is used to play back digital recordings and arrange recordings.A sound card changes the digital data, it gets into analog data that you can use with speakers.-The Creative Ensoniq Audio PCI sound card offers the best reliability and lowest CPU usage in its class.Did you know:-sound cards were invented in 1980-89 in California.
